7th and 8th Grade Supply List

General Supplies

  • One Binder with at least 6 subject dividers/folders – This may be an accordion folder
  • Binder should have 50-100 sheets of 8.5×11 College Rule lined paper

One pencil pouch with the following:

*Refill as Needed*

  • Two sets of 24 count-colored pencils (1 set will stay in locker)
  • Two 24 packs of No. 2 Ticonderoga pencils (1 set will remain in locker)
  • Two large pink pearl erasers (1 will remain in locker)
  • Two packs of highlighters: pink, yellow, green, blue, purple and orange (1 set will remain in locker)
  • One handheld pencil sharpener
  • One pair of scissors
  • At least 6 glue sticks (Extra glue sticks will remain in locker)
  • One roll of scotch tape
  • Four ultrafine point black sharpies (2 will remain in locker)
  • Two packs of blue or black pens (One pack will remain in locker)
  • Two 12” rulers (wood or metal preferred)
  • One pack of .2-.5 mm black razor point pens
  • One set of Post-it flags (.5” x 2”)
  • Classroom Journals: Science, ELA, History, Math, Exploratory
    • Five composition notebooks with COLLEGE RULE lined paper
  • School Planners: Salmon Bay will provide a planner to all students. However, if students have a preference, they may purchase their own.

7/8 Donation Supplies:

  • Boxes of Kleenex
  • Reams of 8.5×11 White Copy
  • Paper
  • Colored Pencils
  • #2 Ticonderoga Pencils
  • Highlighters (Green, Blue, Pink, Purple, Yellow, Orange)
  • Black Sharpies: Fine and Extra Fine Point

  • Compass (Mr. Pen Preferred)
  • One Scientific Calculator (Texas Instrument 83 Graphing Calculator Preferred)
  • One Protractor

7th Grade Compacted Math:

  • One Protractor
  • ¼” Graph Paper (50-100 sheets)

If purchasing school supplies is a financial burden for your family, please contact the main office 206-252-1720. We are happy to assist you with obtaining the necessary supplies. We have some donated supplies that correspond to those on our list for students to fill in needed items.
