     4th Grade Student Personal Supplies


    Please label these items with your child's name before sending them to school. These supplies should be brought in on the first day of school (or to Meet & Greet in Marian’s). Students will be using some of these things right away on the first day of school.


    • 3-ring binder (1 ½” or 2”—not too big)

    • One package of 5 dividers

    • 4 stitch-bound, wide ruled “composition notebooks” (not spiral bound, not perforated tear-out pages)

    • 5 different colored folders with pockets

    • Water bottle with a secure lid –At school daily, but taken home for a weekly wash

    • An inexpensive USB Flash Drive

    • A book at your just-right reading level. (Or choose one on the first day of school.)

    • Sketchpad optional, for students who enjoy drawing so they can keep artwork organized


      4th Grade Community Supplies


      Please have each student bring in the following supplies to share with the community. In order to reduce a divisive climate that occurs when some supplies are exclusive or only shared with some students but not all, the supplies below will be identified and shared as community supplies so should not be labeled with student names. If a child brings any of the following supplies but wants to keep them to him/herself, we will ask the student to take them home.


      All students please provide for the community:

    • One package of pencils (we prefer Ticonderoga)

    • 2-3 erasers (white plastic or vinyl erasers are best)

    • 1-2 Boxes of Tissues

    • Plus:


    Only students with first names starting with A-L, please provide for the community:

    • 2-3 packages of sticky notes (any sizes, colors, with or without lines)

    • 1 package dry erase markers (colored or not)

    • 1 package fine tip colored sharpies/permanent markers

    • 1 bag of pretzels or crackers


      Only students with first names starting with L-Z, please provide for the community:

    • 1 package white 3-5 index cards WITH LINES

    • 1 fine tip and 1 extra fine tip black sharpie/permanent markers

    • 1 package of colored non-permanent markers

    •  1 package glue sticks
